Dörthe-Krause-Institut

The Dörthe-Krause-Institut, our nursing school, was founded in 1970. More than 30 classes have graduated since then. By its unusual characteristics, e.g. extensive clinical tutelage and frequent alteration of assignments, the nursing school has always been a role model for many other institutions.

Our graduates work in many different fields all over Germany and abroad. Often they take part in important developmental projects. On that basis the nursing school became increasingly distinguished in the course of the 1990s. An expansion has been the integration of the hospital’s vocational care training.
